  • UV254 uses the same 254nm wavelength that over 3000 cities in North America and Europe to purify drinking water
  • Provides continuous sanitation. For effective performance operate for a minimum of 8 to 12 hours per day.
  • UV254 Sanitizing Systems are simple to install directly after the filter (see diagram above).
  • The UV bulb should be changed either once a year for year round pools or once every two years for seasonal pools.
  • UV254 units can be easily installed in new pool construction or as a retrofit in existing pools.
  • Compatible with all filtration / sanitizer systems including salt

 
  • Pool water enters the UV254 unit from the bottom and travels up through the unit past the UV light which instantly destroys chloramines and 99.99% of bacteria, algae and micro-organisms.
  • Connects to a 120 volt outlet. UV bulbs are 50, 80, or 90 watts. The UV254 system costs no more to operate than an average light bulb in your home
  • A built in pressure switch automatically turns the UV254 system on or off in tandem with the pump
  • UV254 products require barely 15 minutes of yearly maintenance
